    Definition

    Communication style describes the default rhetorical mode a person uses. EQIQs uses a four-axis model (direct/diplomatic × analytical/expressive). Style mismatch is the single most common source of day-to-day team friction.

    A direct/analytical engineer paired with a diplomatic/expressive PM often miscalibrates urgency.
